Nokia announced at the MWC 2012 the Nokia 808
PureView smartphone equipped with an ultra high resolution image sensor.
As the first phone to feature PureView Pro technology, the 808 packs a
41 Megapixel image sensor, Carl Zeiss F2.4 optics and the PureView
oversampling technology that distil 7 pixels into 1 for stunningly sharp
and clear 5 Megapixel photos. For the best image performance, the phone
also comes with auto focus and touch focus, Xenon flash with up to 3.5
meter opearing range, face detection, scene modes. It is able to capture
Full HD 1080p video at 30fps and there is integrated video editor.
The Nokia 808 PureView runs the Symbian Belle operating. It features a 4-inch 640×360 AMOLED ClearBlack touchscreen with Gorilla Glass, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, GPS/AGPS support, DLNA and HDMI output. You can also find built-in FM radio and Dolby Headphones technology that transform stereo content into a personal surround sound experience over any headphones and Dolby Digital Plus for 5.1 channel surround sound playback. The 808 supports quad-band GSM and WCDMA/HSPA 14.4Mbps mobile networks.
