Samsung Galaxy S III Smartphone

                 The Galaxy S III is powered by a Samsung Exynos 1.4GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. It sports a 4.8-inch 1280×720 HD Super AMOLED (PenTile, however) touchscreen display, NFC support, AllShare DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 (LE), GPS, and WiFi connectivity. It comes with 8 Megapixel auto focus camera with flash, Zero Shutter Lag, BSI sensor, 1080p Full HD video recording, and a 1.9 Megapixel front camera for video chat. Samsung also added burst shot, best photo, recording snapshot and HDR features to enhanced the camera. The handset is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities, and supports microSD/SDHC up to 64GB.

                 The Galaxy S III runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with TouchWiz and Samsung’s own enhancements, including S Voice Music Hub, Game Hub, Video Hub. As a phone designed for humans, it recognize your face and voice. With front camera identifies your eyes, the phone maintains a bright display for continued viewing pleasure, when you are using your phone. The new Galaxy features S Voice, a Siri-like application, that listen and respond to your words.There is also Buddy Photo Share function that lets share photos with all your friends pictured in an image directly from the camera or the photo gallery; Direct Call that will call your friend when you are messaging someone as you lift the phone to your ear. It also includes the S Beam, which is an enhanced Android Beam, allowing a 1GB movie file to be shared within three minutes and a 10MB music file within two seconds by simply touching another GALAXY S III phone, even without WiFi or cellular signal.
              The Samsung Galaxy S III supports quad-band GSM/EDGE, quad-band 3G HSPA+ 21Mbps networks. There will also be 4G version for some markets. Samsung is going to ship the device from the end of May in Europe, then in other countries. It comes in Marble White and, instead of black, Pebble Blue.

Acer Iconia Tab A200 gets Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

                              Acer’s Iconia Tab A200 is getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OTA update. The 10.1-inch tablet is powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB or 16GB internal memory for you to store apps, music and videos and there is microSD/SDHC card slot for expansion.


                                  The Acer A200 tablet has a 10.1-inch 1280×800 WXGA touchscreen, a front-facing camera, dual speakers, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. The Iconia Tab A200 is available in titanium gray and metallic red colors. You can get a 8GB model 



LG Optimus 3D MAX Android Smartphone with 3D Video Editing

 

                                                

                                       While the Optimus 3D Cube is for Korea only, LG has actually prepared the Optimus 3D MAX for international release. The 3D MAX is basically a variant of the 3D Cube with more or less the same features and specs. It sports the same dual 5 Megapixel cameras for capturing 3D images, and NFC support with LG Tag+. The phone comes with 8GB internal storage, unlike its brother 3D Cube with 16GB.


                                     The Optimus 3D MAX is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. It has a 4.3-inch glasses-free 3D WVGA touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass. Using the 3D converter, the phone can convert Google Earth, Google Maps and other road views into 3D. It also comes with in-phone 3d video editing capability. The 3D MAX provides HDMI connection via MHL and supports DLNA wireless connection.

                                       LG’s Optimus 3D MAX supports GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and it works with HSPA+ 21Mbps mobile network. It has a slim design measuring just 9.6mm thick. To be released with Android 2.3, the handset will receive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade later. 

                                     
                                  

Toshiba Thrive Android 3.0 Tablet Coming in July

                              Toshiba is going to release its Thrive Android tablet in the US market in July. The Thrive is basically the US version of the company’s Regza Tablet announced for Japan two month before. It is powered by Tefra 2 dual core processor that can handle Full HD 1080p video playback and runs Android 3.1 Honeycomb tablet-friendly OS.

                
                                 Toshiba’s Thrive features a 10.1-inch 1280×800 capacitive touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel main camera, a 2 Megapixel front camera for video chat and HDMI output. It supports Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and provides USB connector and SD card slot. It comes with 8GB, 16GB or 32GB storage. Running Android Honeycomb, the Thrive comes with the Swype keyboard pre-installed for easy typing.

The Toshiba Thrive will be released in July in US for $429 for 8GBG, $479 for 16GB and $579 for 32GB.

Asus Padfone combines a tablet and a smartphone

                              At the Computex 2011, Asus introduces its Padfone, a combo of a tablet and a smartphone. The package includes a 10.1-inch tablet dock and a 4.3-inch smartphone, both running Android OS. The Padfone offers seamless transition of applications between pad and phone. Only one SIM card is need for the pad and the phone.
                                  
                            The pad also serves as an extended battery for charging the phone. With a large screen, the pad lets you to enlarge your screen size any time you need to. Asus does not release much information about the Padfone, let’s wait and see.

                  Nova Media launches the iCON461 3G Surfstick that comes with built-in GPS support for location-based services. The USB 3G modem has no SIM lock, which means you can use it with any network operator. It supports quad-band 850/900/1900/2100MHz HSPA/UMTS 3G network with up 7.2 Mbit/s download and up to 5.76Mbit/s upload speeds.

               The iCON461 also works with quad-band GSM/EDGE networks, meaning you can still use EDGE for internet connection when HSPA/3G is not available. The USB modem comes with a microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB cards. The iCON461 works with Mac and Windows PC.

Interpad Android tablet packs NVIDIA Tegra 2

                         A German company called E-Noa is launching the Interpad, a new 10-inch tablet device powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform. The device runs Android 2.1 with a 1Ghz Tegra 2 T20 Dual ARM Cortex-A9 processor, 1GB of DDR2 memory and 16GB internal capacity.


                      The Interpad comes with 10-inch capacitive multitouch screen, and supports Bluetooth 2.1 and WIFi 802.11b/g. It supports playback of H.264, H.263, VC-1 video at up to 1080p resolution and offers HDMI output. MicroSD card slot is available for expansion. Options include GPS, 3G module and camera.

Samsung Galaxy S Smartphone

Samsung announced at the CTIA 2010 its Galaxy S GT-I9000 Androiod smartphone, which is one of the most powerful Android device on the market. this new Galaxy phone is boosted by a 1GHz processor and runs Android 2.1 OS.


At just 9.9mm thick, the Galaxy S sports a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with the mDNIe  technology for “sharper and crisper” images; a 5 Megapixel camera with auto focus, smile shot, panorama shot and 720p HD video recording; and built-in A-GPS support. The GT-I9000 supports Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. It has 8GB or 16GB internal memory and supports microSD up to 32GB.

The Samsung Galaxy S works on quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band 3G HSDPA 7.2Mbps networks. The device measures 64.2 x 122.4 x 9.9mm and weighs 118g.
