Lenovo IdeaPad S205 AMD Fusion Notebooks

                    Lenovo releases its IdeaPad S205 series notebook powered by AMD’s Fusion platform. The S205 11.6-inch notebooks are powered by AMD’s Fusion E350 application processor with ATI Mobility Radeon 6310 graphics. They have a 11.6-inch 1366×768 LCD display with integrated webcam.

                    Three models are available, the S205-103827U model with 3GB RAM and 320GB hard drive; the S205-103829U with 4GB RAM and 500GB drive; and the S205-103828U with 4GB of memory and 750GB hard drive. They all support WiFi connectivity and the S205-103828U model adds Bluetooth 2.1 support. A 6-cell battery is included.

          The prices are $499 for S205-103827U, $579 for S205-103828U and $599 for S205-103828U.

               Lenovo announced two new all-in-one desktop PCs, the IdeaCentre A700 and IdeaCentre B305,both can be equipped with optional NaturalTouch fingertip touch screen technology and a suite of touch-enabled multimedia applications. The A700 is the world’s first PC to utilize Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) touch screen technology, as used in certain medical applications, for the most reliable and responsive touch experience.Both A700 and B305 include a 6-in-1 card reader and supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n.

                  The IdeaCentre A700 is powered by up to Intel Core i7 processor and gets up to 8GB of RAM, DirectX 11 graphics and up to 2TB of storage. It comes with a unique unique 3-in-1 mouse that functions as a standard mouse, air mouse/pointer and motion-drive games controller and JBL designed speakers with Dolby Home Theater. The A700 sports a 23-inch Full HD LCD display and HDMI connector. Lenovo’s IdeaCentre B305 instead boasts up to AMD Athlon II X4 quad-core CPU and optional DirectX 11 graphics. It has a 21.5-inch display.

      The L2361p comes with a 0.3 Megapixel webcam, HDMI input and a TV-like stand. the 23-inch L2361p Wide. The former sports Full HD 1920×1080p resolution but lacks HDMI connector. It can be rotated to portait orientation and has VGA and DVI input.

the IdeaPad U1 Hybrid has Intel's ultra-low voltage processor - Core 2 Duo SU processor. This notebook includes up to 4GB RAM, Intel GMA integrated graphics, built-in 1.3 megapixel web camera, two USB 2.0 ports, eSATA port, HDMI, VGA port and 4-in-1 memory card reader. Users can add up to 128GB SSD for storage of which 16GB would rest on the tablet. We think this is great as whenever one wishes to type, the tablet can be attached again to the notebook and used.

Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid has features of multi-touch tablet and notebook, both incorporated in one. Weighing 1.72kgs, IdeaPad U1 Hybrid has 11.6-inch touchscreen and sports Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor and 512MB RAM. When detached from the notebook, this display acts as multi-touch display tablet running customized Linux Kernel based interface dubbed Skylight. Lenovo claims that the tablet itself will have battery life of 6 hours and 3G Networks based web-surfing will stoop the battery life down to 3 hours. The tablet can be used in landscape as well as portrait mode.
