Not to be confused with the original Galaxy S II Skyrocket, the new HD model features a large 4.65-inch 1280×720 HD Super AMOLED touchscreen display. Heading to AT&T, the Skyrocket HD supports the carrier’s 4G LTE mobile network for high-speed data.

Brookstone iConvert Scanner Transforms your iPad into Scanner

                 Brookstone launches the iConvert Scanner, a device that transforms your iPad or iPad 2 into a portable scanner.The iConvert scans hard copies to JPEG files which are automatically stored in the picture folder, giving you instant e-copies of your documents.

                    The iConvert scans documents in high resolution 300dpi for clear JPEG images. After docking the iPad/iPad 2 into the iConvert, the free downloadable app will provide step-by-step prompts from “scan” (with real-time preview) to “save” or “delete”. The scanner’s front feeder adjusts from 2 inches to 8½ inches wide to fit many size photos and important documents.

Dell announced its new Alienware X51 gaming desktop with a smaller chassis design that fits virtually any space, offering the flexibility to turn nearly any living space, from the living room to the dorm room, into an entertainment and gaming mecca. It is designed to deliver 1080p HD and 3D gaming experience. The dual-orientation tower measures H343mm x W95mm) x D318mm.

The X51 uses Mini-ITX mainboard with Intel H61 Express Chipset and is powered by 2nd generation Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor, up to 8GB of DDR3 and either 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 545 or 1GB GeForce GTX555 dedicated graphics card for intense gaming performance. The desktop packs a 1TB 7200RPM hard drive and a slot-loading DVD burner or optional Blu-ray Disc drive. Gigabit 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet LAN port and WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n are available for network connection. HDMI 1.4 is available for connecting to a HDTV/3D TV and watching HD videos.
