While the Optimus 3D Cube is for Korea only, LG has actually prepared the Optimus 3D MAX for international release. The 3D MAX is basically a variant of the 3D Cube with more or less the same features and specs. It sports the same dual 5 Megapixel cameras for capturing 3D images, and NFC support with LG Tag+. The Optimus 3D MAX is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. It has a 4.3-inch glasses-free 3D WVGA touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass. Using the 3D converter, the phone can convert Google Earth, Google Maps and other road views into 3D. It also comes with in-phone 3d video editing capability. The 3D MAX provides HDMI connection via MHL and supports DLNA wireless connection.
LG’s Optimus 3D MAX supports GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and it works with HSPA+ 21Mbps mobile network. It has a slim design measuring just 9.6mm thick. To be released with Android 2.3, the handset will receive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade later.
