Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX20 Rugged Digital Camera

                          Unlike other gadgets, rugged digital cameras can be very stylish and slim. Sony shows you its latest creation, the Cyber-shot DSC-TX20, a ultra slim, stylish yet rugged digital camera ideal for everyday adventures, from skiing to trips to the beach or pool. The TX20 is waterproof up to 5 meters, shockproof up to 1.5m, freezeproof (up to 14F) and dustproof.

                            The Sony TX20 features a 16.2 Megapixel BSI Exmor R CMOS sensor, a 4x optical zoom Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens and the BIONZ image processor that combines with the sensor to deliver super fast up to 10fps, Anti Motion Blur, Hand-held Twilight and 1080i movie modes. The zoom range can be extended to 8x thanks to the Clear Image Zoom technology. Like other Cyber-shots, the rugged TX20 has Optical SteadyShot image stabilization and it includes the Active mode for blur-free video recording. It records Full HD 1080/60i video and is able to capture 12 Megapixel stills while video recording  via Dual Record function. Other features include Intelligent Sweep Panorama HR mode, Intelligent Scene Recognition mode, Superior Auto mode, Motion Detection, Face Detection technology, Smile Shutter technology, Background Defocus. It includes 7 Picture Effect options for creating unique, custom-styles photos and video as well.


                             The Cyber-shot DSC-TX20 comes with a 3-inch XtraFine LCD touchscreen and offers HDMI output. It supports MS Duo and SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards. Sony will release the TX20 in May in stylish orange, green, black, blue and pink colors.

Gavio WRENZ Bird-Shaped Speaker

                                      Singapore company Gavio launches the WRENZ, a bird-shaped speaker. The WRENZ is no larger than your palm and features a “sexy design contours” and a mirror finish. It is equipped with 32mm neodymium speaker drivers to deliver a total of 2W power output.

                                           The WRENZ comes with built-in rechargeable battery, making it convenient to use. Thanks to its Daisy Chain feature, you can link several WRENZ speakers together, forming a large music choir. Using standard 3.5mm audio jack, most media devices, including smartphones, PMPs, MP3 players, tablets iPhone/iPod/iPad can be used with the bird speaker.           

Acer Iconia Tab A200 gets Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

                              Acer’s Iconia Tab A200 is getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OTA update. The 10.1-inch tablet is powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB or 16GB internal memory for you to store apps, music and videos and there is microSD/SDHC card slot for expansion.


                                  The Acer A200 tablet has a 10.1-inch 1280×800 WXGA touchscreen, a front-facing camera, dual speakers, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. The Iconia Tab A200 is available in titanium gray and metallic red colors. You can get a 8GB model 



LG Optimus 3D MAX Android Smartphone with 3D Video Editing

 

                                                

                                       While the Optimus 3D Cube is for Korea only, LG has actually prepared the Optimus 3D MAX for international release. The 3D MAX is basically a variant of the 3D Cube with more or less the same features and specs. It sports the same dual 5 Megapixel cameras for capturing 3D images, and NFC support with LG Tag+. The phone comes with 8GB internal storage, unlike its brother 3D Cube with 16GB.


                                     The Optimus 3D MAX is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. It has a 4.3-inch glasses-free 3D WVGA touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass. Using the 3D converter, the phone can convert Google Earth, Google Maps and other road views into 3D. It also comes with in-phone 3d video editing capability. The 3D MAX provides HDMI connection via MHL and supports DLNA wireless connection.

                                       LG’s Optimus 3D MAX supports GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and it works with HSPA+ 21Mbps mobile network. It has a slim design measuring just 9.6mm thick. To be released with Android 2.3, the handset will receive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade later.
